Brooklyn born, Alexis Bittar went from pedaling handmade and antique goods through the streets of New York, to selling his exquisite jewelry collections around the globe. During the duration of his attendance at the Bronx High School of Science, hitting the club scene fueled and inspired his interest in fashion. He then pursued his passion through jewelry designing. Some combining Lucite and semi-precious stones and metals and others have an antique influence that are reminiscent of the collectibles he grew up around. Since opening his first boutique in New York City in 2004, he has expanded to the west coast in 2010. Today there are seven Alexis Bittar boutiques in the US.
